The Medal represents Pope John XXIII.He was elected Pope in October 28th 1958 and in less than five years he started the renewed impulse evangelist of the Universal Church. He is remembered with the appellative of “good Pope”. It was tertiary Franciscan and he has been beatified by pope John Paul II September 3rd 2000; April 27th 2014 he has been canonized together with John Paul II.
