SAINT ANTHONY - STATUE - WOOD

Hand-carved and painted by Italian artisans, this wood sculpture depicts St Anthony of Padua as we know him from the classical iconography. The book he holds recalls his role of preacher, the flower of lily stands for purity, and Child Jesus recalls Christ's central role in the life of the Saint.
