OUR LADY OF GRACE - STATUE - WOOD

The Virgin's clothing is the result of an excellent handmade decoration, with a gradation of color ranging from white to light blue. The drapery of the garments recalls liveliness and grace of an actual movement. Below you can see the Virgin's foot crushing the snake's head, a symbol of victory over evil. This representation evokes the apparition of the Virgin to St. Catherine Labouré, also visible on the medal.
