SAINT CLARE - MEDAL
Patronage: patron saint of television and goldsmiths.
Feast: 11 August.
This medal represents St Clare of Assisi. One of the first followers of St Francis, she founded the order of the Poor Clares and spent 42 years at the convent of Saint Damian, the same where St Francis received his call from God. Approved a few days before her death, the rule of St Clare was the very first one in history of Christianism to have been written by a woman.
At your request, we will bring the medal to receive the Blessing from Pope Francis. Request it in the shopping cart.
