The St Nicholas medal features the Bishop of Myra as he imparts the blessing, dressed in his embroidered religious habit and crowned with a richly decorated nimbus. The real Santa Claus lived between the late 3rd and mid-4th centuries during the Great Persecution enacted by Diocletian against Christians. He gained even more popularity after his death when he became known as St Nicholas the Wonderworker and the patron saint of children.

At your request, we will bring the Catholic medal to receive the Blessing from Pope Francis. Request it in the shopping cart.
