SAINT STEPHEN - MEDAL
Patronage: deacons, bricklayers.
Feast: 26 December.
St Stephen medal depicts the first martyr of Christianity in the act of praying. This Christian deacon came from the Greek Diaspora of Jews, which earned him the epithet of Stephen the Greek. During the Pentecost, the Holy Spirit entrusted him with performing “great wonders and signs among the people” (Acts 6:8). As of that, Stephen the Martyr became one of the most faithful followers of Christ and ultimately went down in history as an example of Christian compassion and forgiveness. These were the words he pronounced before dying at the hands of his persecutors: “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.”
At your request, we will bring the medal to receive the Blessing from Pope Francis. Request it in the shopping cart.
