The Novena for Pentecost is such an important novena dedicated to the Holy Spirit. Through Pentecost, celebrated 50 days after Easter, Catholics from all over the world celebrate the descent of the Holy Spirit on the Church. It is a powerful 9 days of prayers that is meant to help us open ourselves up to the third person of the Holy Spirit.
Even if the Novena to the Holy Spirit is particularly indicated for Pentecost, you can recite it any time you want during the year.
In particular, through this Novena we want to ask the Holy Spirit to enrich us with some special gifts, that are Charity, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self-control and Goodness.
